I
want to introduce you to Voiceless: The
Fund for Animals. They are a non-profit group out of Australia.
Recently, they spent a lot of time and effort, not to mention money creating
several truth based advertisements set to appear in eight magazines.
The pork industry, afraid you'll actually read them and contemplate the food
on your plate, silently forced (unproven at this point but let's all remember
Oprah and Howard Lyman, shall we?) these eight magazines to drop the advertisements
that Voiceless had created.
Well, Thrifty Planet doesn't give a hoot about the Pork Producers of the world.
We care about the Pigs. How can reality and truth be wrong?
So here are the advertisements in their full glory. They will remain on Thrifty
Planet indefinitely. They are no more graphic than any other meat centric advertisement
in magazines today.

The following magazines are among those who refused to run the ads: Marie Claire,
Delicious and Good Weekend. (A big thumbs down for all three of you!)
